Upon walking into Thai Flavor, I immediately noticed that this was a family-run operation. This was a good sign. The atmosphere was pleasant, kind of a café feel with vibrant green walls. The menu was most impressive, boasting a large number of appetizers, noodle dishes, soups, entrees, and desserts...I had ordered the Panang Tofu, which arrived beautifully garnished with whipped coconut milk and was accompanied by a large portion of steamed broccoli, while my date ordered a something with tofu, lots of veggies in a garlic ginger sauce. It was exactly what I love about Thai food, a combination of sweet, spicy, with proper seasoning...For dessert we ordered the Mango and Sticky Rice, and the Taro Ice Cream. Both dishes were excellent, leaving a warm feeling in our stomachs as we finally geared up to leave. The prices were reasonable, $30 for all the food mentioned after taxes. It was a very pleasant experience. Thai Flavor receives my approval, and that of my date. I plan on returning frequently, as it is as good or (possibly) better than the existing Thai restaurants in town, with comparable prices, and it is closer to my home.
